I imagine that there may be a need for new drivers, but not necessarily. It should not be a problem since Matrox and Adobe are tied together with Axio and many Photoshop users have the Parhelia card. Both are high profile.

You are on the right track, but it is easier than you might expect.
Just create a project with the settings you want to use, then import the old project into the new project. All of the sequences will be in the bin named for the old project. Dig around for them. You will see.

You might want to try downloading the free trial of Cineform Aspect HD 4.0 – I believe it works fine with the HC1.

I am working on a two Premiere Pro 2.0 books at the moment. One as a techincal editor of a step-by-step book, and the other as a contrinuting writer – upgrading the last one from 1.5 to 2.0. So if it were easy to learn, I would have to do something else to pay for my cameras and PCs. But I would still rather have it be easy to learn.

When they release Vista, then there will be a few of us who move to it and Adobe will have a few beta testers available. Until then, how do you propose Adobe fully test the Video software? With beta Microsoft software as a base? That could change any moment? Too expensive is my guess.

The motion effect has a Scale Parameter. The problem is that 720X576 uses non-square pixels and 640X480 uses square pixels. So the 480 is the number you want to concentrate on. Take the video to 83% of scale and you will be very, very close.
Once you get what you want, you can copy the first one, and then paste attributes to all of the others on the sequence at one time.
