What are you exporting in order to see it in Media Player?

Undo changes what you just did. So if you change sequences and undo, you are changing the last thing you did in the other sequence.
The solution is to use the History panel instead.

You are missing a setting in After Effects. It sounds like you are not compressing the video. The file size is correct in Premiere.

The head cleaners are abrasive, but not terribly so for short periods when done infrequently. Just run 10 seconds and that should do it.

There is no way to view the source monitor over the firewire. That is from the sequence only.
Alt+[ sets the in point of the workarea, and Alt+] sets the out point. Look in the Keyboard customization for the Windows portion and select timeline. You can change the shortcuts to anything you wish, including B and N if you wish. Those letters are used in ripple and rolling edits. But you can override and change them if you wish.
The wing menu on the timeline allows you to change the zero point of the sequence if you wish.

There is a tremendous amount of variety. And you can quickly download what you need from the web site for a rasonable price. For example, say I decide I need some jungle drums. I use the program to find “Zimba Dance” and I buy it for $20. Done deal. I don’t know if the prices go up for the Mood based music, but even so, it is a great deal.
There were times when a library made more sense for something in particular, but now with the ability to dig into the innards of the music, there is no sense in passing up a great deal like SonicFire Pro 4.

I have not tried Stack Tracks so I can not compare the two.

For multi-camera, I capture the entire tape in one go. Otherwise, I take advantage of batch capture.

If you want HDV to work well in AE7, use Cineform Aspect HD. Even Adobe admits that HDV doesn’t work well in AE7.
