The manual describes this step by step. You need to set the camera to USB Device.

[Jonny Cates] “I have it cut up in several pieces and placed it into a new sequence for editing. I started to do a render, but now I get this message:

“Codec not found. You may be using a compression type without the corresponding hardware card.””

If you haven’t added any affects or transitions, you shouldn’t have to render anything.

Try placing the lever in the up position.
My hour meter menu on my BVU-950 is 205 and 206.

The VO-9600 has a Digital Hour Meter built in. Use your Programmed Operation lever and Shuttle/Jog to view.

Not weird. That is normal. FCP scans all the files to make sure they are correct. Depending on the project size, it can take awhile.
