anybody out there have any idea on how to check the used hours on the old Sony VO-9600 decks? I have a perspective buyer for my decks and it’s the only thing holding me back:( I can’t seem to find my manuals either. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The VO-9600 has a Digital Hour Meter built in. Use your Programmed Operation lever and Shuttle/Jog to view.

Thanks Steve, I’ll check it out. My unit for some reason doesn’t have a menu lever near the apron. I have a horizontal lever that can select rec-off-play and also another vertical lever that is near the mark a mark b buttons. When I was talking to another service buddy today he was stating that I should have a lever like a menu lever does this sound right to you and what I should be looking for?

Try placing the lever in the up position.
My hour meter menu on my BVU-950 is 205 and 206.
