I have the 30″ Scepture as a secondary monitor. DVI input for G5 and I can switch it to my HD Link and RGB input for Blackmagic card. It looks great!

Look for the distort tool for what you want to do. This is not the correct way to make anamorphic footage 4:3. But you can try it.

Everyone you ask will tell you that FCP Studio along with Shake, After Effects and a few other third-party plug-ins are an incredible set of tools that will yield excellent results both for you and your clients at a fraction of the cost of an AVID.

Contact Promax, Midwest Media Group or the DR Group.

FCP can do anything the AVID can. If you have a chance, check out Apple’s 2006 NAB Demo.

    Let Google be your friend.

HDCAM, DVCPro HD, HDV, XDCAM HD, so many formats and data rates. SATA drives RAIDS XSAN Capture Cards, so many choices.

For critical HD monitoring, stay away from cheap LCD monitors. Check out Panasonic’s BT-LH1700W or BT-LH2600W.

When you export from MPEG Streamclip, use Export to QuickTime, select Apple DV/DVCPRO-NTSC change quality to 100% and press make movie. You should not have any problems playing the clip.
