  • OT – Great 22″ Monitor at Costco for $299

Posted by Walter Biscardi on October 17, 2006 at 1:55 pm

I picked up a Viewsonic VX2235wm 22″ monitor at Costco this weekend for just $299 on sale. The unit is on sale all this week and is a fantastic monitor for the money.

NO, this is not the same quality as a Dell, but for the price, it’s a great secondary monitor or for an offline suite. We just set it up as the only monitor on a third edit system we need to run for the next few weeks and it’s working out great.

Sale price is given when you go to the register. Just thought I would pass this along.

No clue. I use the Viewsonic 20″ monitor right now as the secondary monitor to our 24″ Dell in the main suite so I knew that was a decent monitor. I never even looked at the Sceptre and have no idea on what it looks like.

I have the 30″ Scepture as a secondary monitor. DVI input for G5 and I can switch it to my HD Link and RGB input for Blackmagic card. It looks great!

Dell is going to be offering a 24″ monitor soon for 289.
It will be HDCP compliant as well.
Just read about that a few days ago.

You can order through Costco online for the same price.

Are you sure you didn’t mean the Dell 20″ that is currently no sale for $289?

Here’s the link to the Viewsonic 22″ monitor from Costco (online):

not sure if it’s the same model number Walter is referring to, but it’s a 22″ Viewsonic for $299 with the $50 mfg rebate.

I was questioning the post of the Dell 24″ going on sale for $289. I think this person may have meant the Dell 20″ that is currently available for $289.
