I can’t see that Apple shifting resources from OS development to iPhone development is a good thing at all, it’s bound to affect FCP6 as some of the features MUST be dependent on Leopard.
I guess we’ll see in a couple of days time, but waiting another 6 months for FCP6 would be a pain.

I think in my top 100 things to change about FCP this would struggle to make number 100!
The value has to be something, 99 times out of 100 you have to change it anyway.

Way behind the game! I don’t see Avid rushing to support it. I’ll be surprised if they have considered it a priority as its just a consumer format at the moment, Panasonic have a pro version coming up that will need supporting but according to conversations with engineers I’ve had, it’s an extremely poor quality codec to edit with.

Always pays to be careful, but as I understand it there are some proof of concept viruses that have been patched, but none actually out there in the wild.

Don’t get any of that at all on my systems I’m afraid. Reinstall the OS and FCP if you can.

I’m just watching the live webcast, very impressive webcast with mutiple angle streams, and it runs without too many pauses.
