    Chris;

    Either I wasn’t clear or you mis-understood, what I wanted to do.

    I was looking for a way to have the text justified left and right at the same time.

    Basically the tool adds spaces to the middle of the lines so that both sides ar lined up.

    Tom answered it and it worked perfectly.

    Thanks Tom;
    I haven’t used Title 3D that much.
    I thought about looking at that after I posted the question.

    I’ve tried saving it to an external USB, on the desktop, in the documents folder and I have the same issue every time.

    I agree with Walter. I would not use a My Book to edit with, you’re not going to have the read/write speed that is needed.

    Definitely go with a Raid, I personally have had really bad experiences with Lacie, but these were older 500GB units, maybe the newer ones are better.

    Really never had any issues with G-Raids.

    I think Final Print from Digital Heaven will do what you want.

    “Final Print is a standalone application which prints a list of clips in a bin or markers contained in a clip or sequence. This provides a very useful workflow enhancement when handing off a project to someone else for further work.”

    Under “User Preference” (Option+Q) there is setting for how often and how many copies of the auto save there are.

    Did you try using the Brightness & Contrast filter and adjusting the Contrast.

    I don’t know what the original looks like, but that is probably what I would try first.

    A simpler way would be to play it out to a stand alone DVD recorder rather then tape, but obviously you would need to have one.

    I ran into a similar issue at one time and it had to do with the fact that the raid did not have an Oxford chipset.

    Just an idea.

    May 20, 2009 at 7:53 pm in reply to: help with close caption.. how do i do it!

    We do it all the time with the same equipment.

    We use MacCaption to create the CC file and then add it to the top line of video, crop it to 1 line, render it out and lay it to tape.
