I’m a big keylight fan. It is a great keyer. If you don’t want to use it in AE you can purchase it as a plug-in for FCP for around $270 (US) or so. Check it out here: https://www.thefoundry.co.uk/products/keylight/

There is a Typewriter effect included in FCP. In the Viewer go to the bottom right corner and click on the button with the A in a film strip. Go to text in the drop down menu and then choose Typewriter. Best of luck.

In AE you would use the Colorama filter. For Motion I would try the invert filter and drop its Mix value and then play with some other color correction filters. Not sure if this helps but best of luck.

They added a page turn to Motion 5. You can always take the template into FCP and add a page peel there. Here is a tutorial on how to do it: Page Turn tutorial

I’ve been a FCP user since version 2. I like many others are testing out other NLE programs. Here is a video tutorial that will show you what you need to do.

I hope Adobe adds it, this question comes up a lot. You can request it here https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform The more people do it the more likely it will happen. It was suggested to me to use the circle mask which can feather the edge. Not the same bet can be a work around.

Ann, I also really hope they add a feather to the garbage matte, it just seems like something that wouldn’t be that hard. The ellipse sounds like a good idea. I’ll give that a go.
