select from here to end of sequence
Posted by Jim on June 8, 2012 at 3:47 pmIn FCP, pressing tttt in a sequence selected everything from that point till the end. Is there an equivalent function in PR CS6?
Thanks,

June 8, 2012 at 7:30 pmA is the Track Select Tool. Hold down Shift and then it will select all tracks. Just like with the Blade tool. You can’t hit bb to get a double blade. YOu have to hit C and hold down shift. Hope this helps and best of luck.

June 8, 2012 at 10:59 pmThanks for getting back to me. Perhaps I did not explain what I was trying to do. In FCP, if I wanted to separate an interview into just the answers, I would blade at the cut point and be able to hit the “t” key 4 times; this would give me a double arrow and when I clicked on the sequence (following the blade cut) it would select everything later. I could then shift the rest of the sequence down (without fear of putting anything out of sync etc) and insert a title or something else. Is there an equivalent function in PR CS6?
Thanks,

I’ve been a FCP user since version 2. I like many others are testing out other NLE programs. Here is a video tutorial that will show you what you need to do.https://reels.creativecow.net/film/tttt
Best of luck and hope this helps.

A bit late finding your post but I’m looking for the same feature. Did you ever find a way to select “from here” in Premiere? There was such a function in the old Media 100 and it made life much easier with long projects when trying to open up a gap and work withing a sequence.
Have you had any luck?
