That tutorial is so helpful, I can’t bring myself to make fun of how you say “escape”:-)Curse that Audio Processing Learning Disability. It makes life tough sometimes. Thank goodness I don’t have to make a living being an actor 🙂
As for the tutorial it was built in Motion 4 back in 2011. By the way, thanks for the kind words about it. I’m in After Effects now and might not be the best of help. Regardless of AE or Motion the look is still the same. A lot of times I like to move the text in with position keyframes and them move the whole group of words (once lumped together) with the camera. I like to put a little bounce on the text like in this commercial I did:
Notice how the “You Don’t Pay Anything” text moves from the bottom of the screen and then slightly overshoots its resting spot and has to bounce down into places just a little. I think little details like that add a little punch to the text.

You may want to consider purchasing a Kinetic Typography template to save time is time is an issue. As for fonts I like bold fat fonts because I feel they stack well. Here is a 15 second kinetic Typography spot I did. If the font is thin it leaves a lot of gabs. Also, in case you haven’t seen if you might like this Kinetic Typography tutorial

I’m glad to hear that that isn’t normal. I have had so many problems with the newest version of CC that I was getting really frustrated. I’ll give your two suggestions a go and see what happens.

I agree with Dave. But I have to say, coming from FCP 7. Ultra Key is amazing for an editing program keyer. When I’m in a hurry I use it and I have been very happy with the results. It handles close up and medium shot interviews well. I think Keylight is better but if you are trying to save time I say give the work flow to Ultra Key in Premiere a chance and see what you think.

Your article says “Progress indicators on the After Effects icon in the Mac OS dock during previews and render queue rendering
The icon for After Effects CC 2015 (13.5) in the Mac OS dock does not display a progress bar, frame count, or render item count while previewing or render queue rendering. This functionality requires additional work to the new architecture.”I was really sad to see that feature missing. I find it to be very helpful. Also, is there a way to have AE not play until it completes the RAM preview or if I hit the zero key again? Like it did in the last version.

I don’t think anything will beat the Warp Stabilizer. Sorry for the bad news. You don’t have to go to After Effects to use the Warp Stabilizer, it is also available in Premiere Pro.

To me it looks like they did a lot of quick write on effects. Since it is so quick you could use a mask to make the image appear that it is writing on.
