I have updated to CC 2015 and I can’t find the opacity any more. I used to be in the timeline and Video Effects window but it is no longer there. Look at my screen grab to see that it isn’t in the Video Effects window and in the time line there is a line just like the audio has except I can grab is with the selection tool but can grab it with the audio. What am I missing?

    Your Effect Controls gone haywire.
You can try shift + alt while opening Premiere or
    do a re-install.

I’m glad to hear that that isn’t normal. I have had so many problems with the newest version of CC that I was getting really frustrated. I’ll give your two suggestions a go and see what happens.
