Go to File, Print to Video or Edit to Tape. Either one will let you lay your sequence to tape. You can adjust your settings by going to Final Cut Pro, Audio/Video Settings. Make sure you set your device control to something like Firewire NTSC. Hope this helps and best of luck.

When working with text the best thing you can do is be sure to set it to “Best” when you export out your project. Best helps keep text nice and sharp. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Create a project file that is the size you want. Then open up the snap template. Make sure the project pane or timing pane are open. Drag the Group (If there are multiple groups get them into one group) from the snap template over to the other project that is the size you want and then make any additional size adjustments to the group. Then you will have the snap template at the size and frame rate you want. Best of luck.Stephen Smith

In addition to the Canvas you can also do the Timeline or Project Pane. Plus you can right click and choose import, but I prefer the drag and hold until the drop down menu becomes visible.

I think it is always best to compress a version for approval and a different version for YouTube. YouTube will re-compress everything so that is why you give them a big file that you would never give to a client to just view. Hope this helps and best of luck.
