layred photoshop files
anyway to bring in layered photoshop files into motion without it coming in flattened? I’ve tried import and open as well as just dragging the file into the canvas from the browser. they all come in flat. Only one computer actually asks me if I want the image imported with merged layers or flattend. thanks

Ted,
Drag the file to the canvas but don’t release the button. A drop menu will come up and ask you if you want to import merged layers, import all layers or select layers to import.

In addition to the Canvas you can also do the Timeline or Project Pane. Plus you can right click and choose import, but I prefer the drag and hold until the drop down menu becomes visible.
