Yes I have rendered but it still gives me some jerkiness..
However..I just exported the timeline to tape and the result was smooth…but just out of curiosity what would be the best settings for exporting an AVI file…some of my exports looked horrible..
thanks

more information…this is very eerie…
when i import the m2v file and wav file back into encore…they play beautifully and synchronize perfectly….
now when i import the same two files into prem pro…the wav file is the proper length..about 11 minutes..but the m2v file is only about 7 minutes…prem pro has shortened it!!what is going on here…
any info would be appreciated…

October 10, 2005 at 2:16 am in reply to: sudden problem…somewhat off topic but now camcorder not recognized by Win XP!looks like the firewire port on the camera is burned out…bad news for me…seems like sony should tell people about this possibility and to warn people to only plug in when it is off…
got to find a new york repair shop now!
thanks for the heads up -

September 18, 2005 at 9:21 pm in reply to: premiere pro problem…still images show up as solid green?I seem to remember that in Premiere 6.5 there was a problem with stills if you did not have the proper aspect ratio…
thought this might have something similar here so i played around with the checkbox in the settings that says to bring in clips scaled…not sure what i did but i eventually got things back to normal…I think I re-imported them with the check box off…then even tho i later changed it and went back and put a check mark in the box, things still seem to be OK??? anyways i am back to normal….thanks…Stan -
