Did you follow the field selection step in the help file?

DVD slideshows do allow for advancing per slide. But Encore has often had issues with this. And the built in transitions are limited.

If you are not relying on the manual advance, build the slideshow as a movie and import that for use on DVD. You can create the effects you want (but unrelated to Encore).

If you are really looking for a robust slideshow program, DVD is probably not the way to go, and not Encore.

I think you should just bite the bullet and retranscode so you have a single correct movie. Any workaround invites problems in Encore.

If you imported a transcoded file, and deleted a section in Encore, just reimport. I would first try undo.

The code 14 is a collection of various errors, and the important part is the “note.”

I assume the issue is in the motion asset, not the psd part of the menu.

    Automatic color set or …?

Same highlight group as the other buttons?
    \
Are you sure all the properties for that button are the same (in Encore)?

Yes, you can use the master sequence.

You must have the Encore markers, if using them, in the master sequence.

Subject to various issues with whether dynamic link is the way to go, but no reason not to give it a go.

    Break 5 for meditation…

I avoided burning from Encore in earlier versions, and never even try anymore. Build to image and burn with Toast (ImgBurn in my case for PC).

Particularly for Macs, permissions issues seem critical. Avoid all of them you can.

In any event, build to an image or folder is a troubleshooting option.

So I’m clear; you are all transcoded for your timelines, right? The build is just to build the disk? And the “build” may have worked. the problem was a burn with no error message, just an ejected disk?

Perhaps Encore has to look back to Photoshop for the font. And rasterizes avoids that. If you add the same font in Encore; same issue?
