A slide with paralax effect
I’ve never worked on adobe encore. I saw that adobe spesificly created this software for dvd interfaces.
I’ve recently been given a task to create a slide show for my company. They liked what i’ve done with paralax effect on websites and like to import the same animation style in to their new slide.
The problem is i dont quite know where to start.
Is encore the right choice for this job? if so is there any source i can read through to achieve the desired result.

DVD slideshows do allow for advancing per slide. But Encore has often had issues with this. And the built in transitions are limited.
If you are not relying on the manual advance, build the slideshow as a movie and import that for use on DVD. You can create the effects you want (but unrelated to Encore).
If you are really looking for a robust slideshow program, DVD is probably not the way to go, and not Encore.
