It seems their new Music Player defaults to copying media files to the main hard drive.  I changed that Preference, moved the files to my external hard drive, deleted them from the MacHD, and managed to update all the latest Adobe apps and start AE just fine.</p>

Now, i&#8217;m constantly getting this error and can&#8217;t even open a file in AE.  Is anyone else having this problem, and what can I do to fix it?  I&#8217;ve already assigned a folder on my external drive as my scratch disk.</p>

In the meantime, I did manage to Add To Render Queue, save an .AVI file, and open that in Media Encoder &#8211; I saved my animated GIF, and I&#8217;ll test other configurations later.</p>

I choose Add To Adobe Media Encoder Queue, Media Encoder opens, and it just&#8230; sits&#8230; there&#8230;  While in ME, I try dragging my file into the queue, and it&#8217;s taken about an hour to import and still&#8230; nothing&#8230; happens&#8230;  </p>

Since I was on a budget tighter than a Victorian corset, I went for the new Mac M1 Mini.  It&#8217;s even faster than the &#8220;professional&#8221;  level PC at my office.    Although I did have to invest in an external hard drive for project storage, the connection is more stable than the old iMac as well.  </p>

I like the vector based workflow, and the potential for interactivity in web banners basic app development. However, I’ve read on the grapevine that Adobe isn’t supporting it very much, and abandoned Flash. Is it worth my time to keep studying and designing portfolio pieces if there&hellip;</p>

Without any masking, it works fine, but with masking (and a few edits to the path)  the only thing pasting is the first version of the shape I made&#8230;  Also selecting the&hellip;</p>
