Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I have several hundred pictures that are all at PAR 1.0. I would rather not convert to 0.9 using Photoshop as I have an automated process using custom software to trim the pictures to my 720*543*1.0 format.
I guess I am looking for the best resolution to input a PAR 1.0 file at. Should it be 720*543, 720*540, or something else.

And just where were you 5 days ago when I was having all the trouble?
Never knew about the asterisk key. Great trick. Went back to see if it would have worked for those troublesome tracks. It might have worked ok, but I like my way better even if it is more work. This is true especialy for fast beats.

My solution was to purchase the Edirol UA-25 mic preamp with phantom power and a USB interface. I also purchased two Behringer B-5 mics. Makes a great portable recording studio.

I am using version 1.5 build 4124.1
I would hate to have to manualy increase each section. It was a musical and there must be 30 songs that I would have to ease the gain change into and out of to make it smooth.
Is there no tool that would allow me to draw a curve that says at an initial signal of -30db add 18 db gain and at 0db add 0db gain and interpolate between?

I found the presets in PPRO 1.5. They only seem to put a clip into a corner. I found nothing that would restore a clip to its original (100% centered) condition. Puting the three cameras to the corners was the simple part. I only to do that once per camera. But trying to go back now that I have done the edit and have a 100 clips is a pain.
I tried to figure out if I could create a preset to restore a clip and failed. It would seem that scale and position are too ‘simple’ to be added to a preset in PPRO 1.5
So, Is there a trick to quickly restoring a gazillion clips?

Field order can be handled differently by different programs. You need to understand the issue and have a strategy for your entire workflow. If you are using NTSC DV, then the field order is low first. Making sure that all your programs read low-first and create low-first is the best way to go. If you are working PAL-DV then you need to look up what the correct field order is.
The characteristics of bad field order is that a diagonal line will not be smooth but rather segmented. This can make video look very bad indeed.
This may not even be your problem, but it is something you need to understand and account for. Google is your friend in this case!

I will take a wild guess that you have the field order set improperly. Read up on field order / interlace issues.

After many long hours of trial error (including a full OS reinstall on a virgin harddrive) I found the error to be in the SATA BIOS support. I updated the BIOS on my ASUS P4C800-DLX card to the latest version (including SATA issues) and no more stutter.
I sure hope this helps someone!
Thanks for the help folks… The COW rules!

The ATI device drivers are up to date. I did try to switch to GDI only without luck.
As mentioned in another post in this same thread, I did have an Edirol UA-25 sound device connect for a while. The time frame is ABOUT that of when the problem started up. I will go back and make sure the driver came out clean.
