If you’re using the texture scale tool if you turn axis bands on it should allow you to scale proportionally… or in the material editor use the length X and Y and that should allow you to increase the size proportionally.
The issue when you say fit to image… is that your aspect ratios of your texture map and image don’t match and thus when Cinema Scales the image it has odd offsets… I think…

Do you have Soundtrack Pro, that may be able to reduce it, or a program that I believe is called sound soap may also do it for you… How much noise are you trying to get rid of… is it bad enough to the point where it makes portions of the audio usless or is it more background then that… You may not be able to get rid of it all, or at all depending on how bad it is…

It also really depends on your employer, some may care some may not.
Any place in particular that you had your eye on…?
My personal opinion is that school is a good idea and I personally would recommend it to anyone… it will give you a whole lot of options that you won’t otherwise have… you may even find some new thing that your interested in that you wouldn’t have guessed… but this is just me… and I do theoretical research in a range of fields so its essential for me to have degress on the end of my name…

Its a good place to start… see if it works for you? I know it doesn’t always work…

There is one other possibility that occurs to me, you may want to try deleting your cache folder of Compressor which is in your user library folder in the Cache folder… Don’t delete the cache folder just compressors sub folder.
You may also want to consider a re-install of your OSX update… which I assume you are aware of how to easily do that…

Well I was hoping to see a underlying component problem but it appears to be contained in compressor… As to the blackmagic thing try both unplugging any cables and also try removing the card… Did you verify permissions when you updated your software?
I would go ahead and install the rest of the updates since I don’t think those are part of the problem…
When you re-installed did you get rid of all the compressor reciepts… and are you sure you got all elements of the program? Application Support Files…
If none of that works there is always re-install final cut studio… but to be honest I am not sure why you’re still having the problem, since when I had the same problem re-installing fixed it…

Well you can use the motion retargeting feature of Cinema, but the skeletons have to match exactly in terms of number of bones, and joints…

I said don’t update it and try it again… I would also try unplugging your Blackmagic system… also could you post more of the crash log…

Did you try not updating it, just install the version that came on the disc, and try launching the application out of the apps folder rather then through FCP…
