we ditched the intensity hdmi and got a extremehd and captured 720P 59.94 then cross/downconverted.
even got a component > hdmi converter from gefen but not got there either..
One issue we see is tearing in the image. That after hunting on forums found this is a xboz issue.. on playback it looks fine.. but step through the frames and there is a sync frame update issue… anyone else seen this?

It’s not the fans that are the loud bit theses days…it’s the drives.. 8 segates chuntering away seeking 6 streams of SD sounds impressive, clients seem to like it also.. lol.. but can get a bit much.
Are the Hitachi 1TB drives enterprise class? good fo raid etc.. ?
