Hi guys!
Thanks heaps for this info… very helpful.
However, I am actually on a PC and not a Mac. But soon I will have both as I also like Macs. But you are right in that I should check with the vendor of the 3rd party plug-ins and check their compatibility with AE CS3.
You guys rock!
Until next time…
Regards,
Serg.

Yep,
as Mylenium has suggested, download the UNMULT plugin for free from the website and that should fix your problem.
I had the same problem and it fixed it with that plugin. 🙂Serg – Australia.

December 10, 2005 at 7:51 am in reply to: Adding effect like lens flare to ADJUSTMENT LAYER on Video FootageHi Mylenium,
Thanks for that advice. I tried it but it didn’t work for me. Am I doing something wrong I wonder?
I have added a solid black layer and added the effect to that layer and used blend mode ADD and SCREEN but it doesn’t show…
Any other ideas?
All I want to do is be able to add lighting to a video footage and be able to control when I can turn it on and off…
Cheers.

December 9, 2005 at 1:25 am in reply to: Speckles on footage when Exporting a rendered Comp as AVI (DV-PAL) in AE6.5I thank you for your advice on keylight..
But any ideas on the “export” options from after effects?
In my thread I also wrote:
“with AE6.5 but can someone also tell me please how I should export my keyed out “green screen” footage to use in composites in other programmes… ie. a way to get a result in AE6.5 and then export it out so I can use it in my editing/compositing programme. (I use Liquid Edition 6.1 for my editing).”
Thanks heaps once again.

September 14, 2005 at 7:27 am in reply to: Recording sound for Short Film & Voice Overs with Mbox and Rode NT2 mic on WinXPThanks for the handy tips Brian,
Much appreciated.
The film festival I am looking at entering my short into is called the Sony TropFest. Their website is http://www.tropfest.com
It is an Australian short film festival that attracts BIG names. For example, we had Geoffrey Rush and Brian Singer on the judging panel last year.
Winners are given great opportunities to do greater things.I think it’s only for Australian films made for the Tropfest though. Check out details on the site.
Otherwise, yeah, it’s my first time doing a film for any festival and I’m going to do my best.
If you have any further queries, feel free to email me.Regards,
Serg.
