Sound Soap on Windows XP
Posted by Serg Merci on September 6, 2005 at 1:08 pmHi all,
would the best way to clean up recorded dialogue be with Sound Soap? I’m Windows based and have Pro Tools Le 6.4
Will Sound Soap work in Pro Tools? Or can it simply work stand-alone on my PC?Cheers,
Serg.

September 6, 2005 at 7:15 pmI use Soundsoap Pro on OSX as an audio units plug-in in Peak. I also think it’s a VST and RTAS plug-in. You can find out on their site, I’m sure. I don’t know if it works differently on Windows, but if Pro Tools can use Audio Units, RTAS or VST plug-ins, SS should work on Windows.
Check out the SoundSoap site https://www.bias-inc.com/products/soundsoap/

September 13, 2005 at 11:08 pmYes it is an RTAS so ProTools 6.4 will show it up.
I’ve never used that plug-in before to let you know if its good or not. But please post your results because i’m intereested in purchasing it too.Brian B
