Hi,
This phenomenon happens mostly because different codecs (DV, H264…) handle the luminance ranges differently by automatically converting them.
The cure is to use a codec like Animation (QT) or simply go for uncompressed just to mention a few.
If you really need to stick to a certain offending codec then use right before your final render an adjustment layer and apply the levels or curve filter to compensate the washed out look.
I am sure if you search the web for luminance range & codecs that you will find more detailed explanations.

CC Sphere doesn’t need a serial so it must be another effect that needs to be serialized.Salut,

You don’t necessarily need to use the layer mapping technique. The key is to have a good texture & bump map.
Give us more details and we should be able to help you get this done.

Check the schools in your area. Most of them have a Gym that would allow you to shoot a big GS scene. It worked great for me so many times;-)

Paul, This is a bug that happens on both platforms. I assume that Adobe is aware of it and would release a patch. The problem is that Adobe doesn’t come out with a single patch so we may have to wait until they correct a bunch of bugs…
I personally switched this feature permanently off as I never know if it would work properly or not and re-rendering missing frames or entire movies when you have a deadline is not an option I am willing to adopt.

Hi,
Are you using the Multiprocessing option? If so disable it in the preferences menu. This may help especially if you are using a 3rd party plug-in.
