I don’t know if a plug like this exists but did you try CC-Wire Removal? You might need to use several instances of the effect just give it a try.

Thad is right. It’s a no can do in AE yet. Your best bet would be to us e Zaxwerks software. Invigorator/proanimator as well as 3D warps would easily do the trick.

You could easily do it with Invigorator (www.zaxwerks.com)
If you can’t afford the plug, you may try extruding your text with “Shatter”. Roland made a tutorial on this years ago. Check the archive.

I don’t get it. What did you do? Again, you should in your PA Stand Alone click on the Object Mode icon (Blue Cube) then open the Object menu and click on Export 3D Object. (Use the ZXO Format)
In AE you create a new comp and a solid, apply the PA plug-in to your solid, navigate to the set-up window, make sure you are in Object Mode and use the same object menu this time to Import 3D object
It sounds to me now that I think about it that you are rendering a frame or movie out of PA. Are you? If so, forget about it as this will of course never work.
