Will do I am guessing I should use same codec settings? Pro Res right?

It would be nice if Motion automatically detected what you used and you could just export without worrying about settings.

Regarding Dynamic Link by creating a comp in AE and sending to Premiere as a D. Link will the preview rendering affect my quality? No right? And vice versa if I take a sequence in Premiere to AE and back no loss of quality right?

At work we have CS4 and FCP 6 and I am trying to decide which I want to use. I am familiar with both. Not an expert. Going between edit programs and AE is a big deal to me.

Curious can I copy and paste clips from Premiere to AE or vice versa?

keep in mind that you’ll still have to render the timeline in order to preview in real time in either application, so depending on what you are doing, you may be better off exporting to uncompressed instead.

So are you saying that even if using the dynamic link option I would be degrading my footage between the two unless I exported out of premiere at animation/lossless and back out of AE again animation?

It seems to work but if you want to make a change to the AI elements is there a way to click on the illustrator file in AE and go back to Illustrator to edit?

I read you can use a dynamic link between them but still have to render, so I am guessing that lowers quality
