How do I create this gowing flourish?

ok the smart aleck answer is to buy it!

Otherwise its rather easy to create. That said, its pretty time consuming. First you need the design sense to make an attractive flourish in Photoshop or Illustrator (my choice) then using a number of hand masks animate a wipe reveal at various frame rates. All this is seasoned “to taste” as far as pacing and the number of masks. Depends how much effort you want to put in. Me, im way old school, I believe in putting in the handwork in a detailed way giving me the most flexibility as far as options go. Pre comp elements to also do an animated scale
‘wobble’ as the pieces reveal. You may not need to pre comp based on what your final goal is.

well, pre comping is a basic AE task that involves taking multiple layers
and ‘combining them into one so you can more easily universally apply effects or transition to those elements alone. Its hard forme to advise you if you are unaware of basic pre comping.

Respectfully, consult your AE manual on how to, and what pre comping is.
