I have a two month mural painting time lapse going on now and I’m using the Magic Lantern firmware to control it. Works great.

March 12, 2012 at 3:40 pm in reply to: Compressor 3.5 still NOT submitting

I’m having the same issue Compressor 3.5.3 and Lion 10.7.3.

Tried everything except re-install. But here’s the thing that makes me doubtful it will work. Compressor ran without a hitch on my laptop and my tower until a week ago. It’s not working on either machine. This leads me to suspect there was a software update from Apple that messed it up.

February 19, 2012 at 12:36 am in reply to: Disturbing loud CLICKS at end of soundclip in FCP

I’m having the same issue. Sometimes I have problems if I forget to convert from WAV to AIF. But I’m using AIF 24/48 in a 24/48 timeline and the clicks won’t go away.

Wondering if this is something that’s going on with the latest OS and the last FCP 7 versions.
    I’m using 10.7.3 and FCP 7.03.

ummmm. not small enough for my bike rides. though I’d love to have one. so, does that mean none of the ultra compact non-pro camera have native 24p?

    thanks, steve.

    Steve,
Well, I meant in a small compact camcorder format. Sure, I love shooting with an HVX, but… Not for everyday off the cuff.

February 20, 2009 at 4:19 am in reply to: ***NEED HELP RECONFORMING 24p back to 60p

I have the same issue. I have a handful of 59.94 clips that had dupe frames. By mistake I conformed them to 23.98. And now I’m stuck. I’m running Compressor 2.3. The Frame Controls section in Compressor doesn’t have a choice to pick a playback frame rate. Is that something that’s in Compressor 3?

Any other suggestions? tried converting to 29.97 then interpret in AE but no luck.

more info. this doesn’t happen when I Media Manage the codec change. and it doesn’t happen when I do the QuickTIme Export from FCP. But it keeps happening with Compressor. Oh, I’m using FCP 5.14.

thanks, Jeff. btw, the distributor is ‘considering’ BluRay, but i think if you translate it that means ‘sorry, but no’.
