    Hello,

Ik hope one of you can help me with the following problem.

I have at project in FCP. In the timeline there is video and audio (FX).
PROBLEM: At the end of the soundclip i hear a disturbing ‘CLICK’ when the clip ends. In the layers beneith it there are other soundclips overlapping, so there is no sudden silence.
I’ve tried fading the sound to silence with both pen-tool and crossfade. Nothing helps.

Do you know how to get rid of the Click?

Hope the problem is clear and you can help me.

    Best,
    Jochum

MP3 files can cause weird things in the audio tracks of FCP, if that’s your case convert the file to another format like aiff.

I’m having the same issue. Sometimes I have problems if I forget to convert from WAV to AIF. But I’m using AIF 24/48 in a 24/48 timeline and the clicks won’t go away.

Wondering if this is something that’s going on with the latest OS and the last FCP 7 versions.
    I’m using 10.7.3 and FCP 7.03.
