I’m in between workstations right now and have been editing on my laptop. Getting sick of the speed limitations and miss all my PCI cards. But onto subject…

I want to view my work on my old Sony 14″ NTSC monitor using component video. I’ve found a few options including a Gefen DVI to component & DVI adapter. This and other options get complaints about them not working.

Anyone use this product or something similar? Also, do you use something like a Spyder to calibrate the output?

    thanks

If you have an express card slot, you can use a Matrox MXO2, an AJA Io Express or a MOTU HDX. All of these have an option to connect to an express card slot, all have component out.
