As an update, I managed to put an emitter into the metaballs object, and have it emmitting the molecules, then using an attractor to such in and give the appearance of “magnetised objects” now I just have to work out how I can get it stick to the attractor like goo….

ok cool…. then perhaps copy the spline and use it as a path for the camera too, then just a case of getting a good material and a bit of effect in AE afterwards…

I just had no luck getting the subs to work in Encore 2.0
Due to timescales I had to rebuild both disks in Encore 1.5 which was a real shame. I havent found anything else on line about this, so it looks like I am just unlucky, but I think I will choose another authoring system next time!
Thanks to those who posted anyway 🙂

I have tried converting all to 3 colour gifs and they are only like 21k each so they are tiny.
I have just purchased another 1gig of memory, totalling 3 gig now and it does the same thing. Just crashes on building the subtitles saying “out of memory”

this kind of works, but it doesnt retain any materials, and also you have to convert all the object to editable objects too, I was hoping there may some easier way rather than having to expand all groups and subgroups?

I am currently using the basic keying that comes with after effects, it does a really good clean edge for the most cases, then use the spill suppressor to “degreen” the edges, it was mostly the parts on her face and hair, as the hair is blonde anyway and has green in it, that causes a problem.
I will try your suggestions above.

thanks george for your reply anyway

Brilliant! I didnt think about checking the audio rate, I was just thinking video alone. I have checked and that was the cause of the problem.
Thanks again 🙂

wow, sounds like you’ve done this before 🙂
Thanks for the tips, I will check that out.
Now, if only I wasnt a cinema4d newbie, I would know how to do that!! (Off to study very quickly)
I havent tried fogs yet, but tried for hours trying to get a ripply light from the surface….. is there a quick easy way? I was imaging one very big light, then using some kind of texture of it to get a ripply effect?
Thanks again for your help
