    Hey there 🙂

    I have to create about a small clip representing the travelling down an electrical wire… like a tube.

    Is there a way to do this in after effects, or do you think it would be easier to create in cinema4D (perhaps going down a cylinder?)

    Use Cinema 4D.

    -sweep NURBS
    – circle
    – spline

    ok cool…. then perhaps copy the spline and use it as a path for the camera too, then just a case of getting a good material and a bit of effect in AE afterwards…

    for the texture, i would think that the cloud shader with some extreme scaling could produce a similar texture for the material.
