I am running 8.0.1 on 10.7.1 with a 470GTX and just finished a documentary…rendering SD only , but with 150 fps.
I ve seen those messages only when working on old projects I imported from 7.1
Your setup sounds good, could you publish the project ?

Dont get me wrong, I love the Mac.
I love it so much, I overlook most of its shortcomings just because it works so well out of the box.
My MacPro is the most beautiful computer ever built, and yes, I will probably try to upgrade its CPUs rather than downsize to a rack mountable pizza box.I am just jealous when i see how much performance those experienced hackintosh users get from their systems.
Even with all the time and effort they need to put in, the results are amazing.Speaking of AVIDs, in the past, they needed to run from external chassis too, so maybe thats the way professional systems have to be.
Modular and loud.But yes…moving back to windows gives me the shivers too.

Did you connect your monitor to the Quadro ?
I should go to the GT.You also need the latest Quadro drivers.

Cant you just go to the gallery tab, open the old projects in the browser on the left and drag those over you want to reuse ?
On the other hand, a user based Power Grade(tm) gallery would be nice as I do a new database for each project as well.A slice of color…

Only a Quadro 4000 because the Ati 1900 uses one power cord , and its probably also double high.
Ditch it and get a GTX 470 ( am I repeating myself here ? 😉A slice of color…

Not really AFAIK.
You need to create the grade manually, then save it into the the power grades.
It will show up with a T behind the node name indicating its a track node.
The is probably a reason behind it…A slice of color…

I agree, copying tracking should be possible by a paste selection like Scratch offers.
One can choose to paste global or local animation data.A slice of color…
