Database + stills / powergrades
Posted by Stig Olsen on August 17, 2011 at 10:41 amHi,
Is it possible to “copy” the stills or the powergrades from a database to another?
I have created a new database that I will start to work from, with all the old projects left behind.
BUT, I need to access the powergrades that is saved in my old database.Stig

Probably the easiest way is if you :
Load your old Database.
Make a Project Called Awesome Grades (or which ever you’d prefer)
Grab all the stills and powergrades that you want
Hit save and then do an Export + of this project.
You should be able to then do an Import + into your new database.
Put all the grades back into the Powergrades and you should be done.
Let me know if that works for you!
Thanks,
D

It may be possible to grab still using this method, but not power grades og memories.
I guess I need to start a new project within the old database, import some random material, paste the color grades on the clips, make stills from the clips, export it and then import the project in the new databse.Stig

August 17, 2011 at 1:22 pmCant you just go to the gallery tab, open the old projects in the browser on the left and drag those over you want to reuse ?
On the other hand, a user based Power Grade(tm) gallery would be nice as I do a new database for each project as well.A slice of color…
