I really second that request for a mapable client too.
And I wonder why it is quite sluggish in Resolve compared to Scratch or Color.A slice of color…

Well , if this is some sort of half official forum (and the only one I could find so far ) I think its important for us to know, test and contribute to see if its your setup, footage, karma or something that effect all users.

Well, the first thing that needs to go is the GT120.
Try to just take it out and compare the performance to your old setup.
I expect 25% decrease.
The next thing is you need to find a solution for the HDMi ports if you intend to use them.
I am using the space in my eSata card for it.
I think if Blackmagic wants users to be happy with the Mac they should :
1. come up with a new breakout cable solution that carries HDMI IO too
2. push Apple/nVidia to support Quadro 6000 cardsA slice of color…

The question remains…
Can anyone with decent DaVinci experience set up a project with a set of nodes that really stress those cores ?
Then we could start deactivating them and see how our system react.
Or is there some more sophisticated way to test CUDA and DaVinci performance.
I mean, dont get me wrong…
I am more than happy I got the GTX 285 and instead bought the Decklink.

I am using 4 Western Digital Caviar Black WD2001FASS 2TB 7200 RPM 64MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5″disks internally connected to the 4 ports in the case.
The system disk resides below the optical drive now.
I also got me a NewerTech MAXPower eSATA 6G PCIe 2.0 RAID Capable Controller Card sitting in port 3 and I have a Mercury Elite-AL Pro Qx2 #OWCMEQX2T8.0S (4 times WD Caviar green 2 TB ) external case connected to it for backup.
I use the internal Raid for playback and grading and run Timemachine over night for safety.A slice of color…
