If I only could find a mixer control now…
Mixing a red version together with a green one, blended by one versions luma or whatever keyed, ahhh , that would be killer 🙂A slice of color…

Would be nice if we could set all available fps settings, globally, for all four windows and with a simple dropdown tab
Like 23,976 for exampleA slice of color…

10 years of Fusion, Nuke and Flame left their mark.
But I am doing two pass gradings of one Red shot on the scratch very very often and mix them by Luma channel.
So, my two main requests for Davinci would be :
1. Support of OFX plugins.
2. Support of blend modes and picture-in-picture FX with stills, other clips, titles and stuffA slice of color…

480 does not debayer a thing, but its grading performance should be lovely too.A slice of color…

A simple C-mode button would do the trick.
I love grading in C-mode to compare repeating clips .A slice of color…

I have a lot of crashes using H264 files directly.
But I agree, conversion to 444 wont add anything but space between.
Actually I would convert into DPX.
I am putting everything into folders from now on and just change the version numbers of the folders.
This seems to be the best way to maintain a proper workflow when dealing with multiple version and iterations.A slice of color…

Yep, that scaling issue should be addressed.
I even suggest having the scope show what happens AFTER the output node.
So when you use a sloppy quicktime codec, it should show the result of the file, not the grading timeline.A slice of color…

I would stay away from everything but ProRes 4444 or uncompressed for intermediate grading files.
Only for delivery you should go below and make you client happy.
