Y-cable is worth a try, but better is to use a simple GT120

Yes, it was a Cubix Desktop 4 with two Quadro 4000s and a Rocket which was not active at this time.
So far all benchmarks show its all about CUDA cores.
It would be interesting to see multiple high power cards in external chassis systems now.
And I wonder if we would see a 5xx card for the Mac.
A lot of people feel left out those days.
I am not fan of the Hackintosh, but my clients seem to like the noise reduction and that basically eats up the performance available without even touching the rest of the tools.A slice of color…

The Cow one sometimes fails for me too.
Of course you can “stretch” the image to fill the video scale up to 1023.
That will make it look good because you extend it into the range your environment is set up.
If you want to deliver for web or TV, this is a way to start grading, just setting a proper black and white point.
People normally call that “linear” then, which is not the case if you look at true linear renders from Nuke for example.

Sure, if it looks milky, its log.
If you scope shows values (very roughly, mike, I know 😉 between 100 and 700 only , its log.
Or just make a jpg and post it, we can see.

1. Run Temrinal and copy/paste:
defaults write -g AppleDisplayScaleFactor 0.752. Run Da Vinci Resolve
3. In Terminal reset the resolution back:
defaults write -g AppleDisplayScaleFactor 1It scales the window down so you can use 1920×1200 GUI on smaller display
