I have, but it ain’t working.

Basically, I think, you would not necessarily have to change it in the Browser,
but if it happens to me, I do it, juts to keep things in order. (That’s the German in me 😉
But it’s easy, just select all clips in questions, right mouse click on the field order tab in the browser and set to None.Sascha Engel

Exactly, what I thought.
I had the same Shebang with Canon C300 footage, where I had to go back to my MPB to L&T, cause the new OS 7 and higher did not have the plug in anymore for Canon Footage, only up to 10.6.8.
That’s the moment, you realise, that the world really abounded my FCP7 Legacy baby. Sniff. 🙁Sascha Engel

No, FCP does not change the field order, it just interprets it wrong.
If your original footage is interlaced HD, you need to set it to UFF.
If it was shot progressive, field order is None.Sascha Engel

Not a big problem:
FCP gets the field order wrong quiet often. Just set it in the browser to the right field order: Upper First.

AppleCare also depends on the country you are in..If you live in Israel,

Using compressor is ok, just make sure you put on the Frame Controls and set the resize filter to highest quality.
Even though I recently read, that the one before highest quality is way faster and even gives you better results.Greetings,
