What way you use to open the audio in its own TL?

    Hi guys,

    Thanx for all the suggestions:
@ bill: no you were right in my case it’s version 1 so, the sound needs to be the back bone. And about the echoe:
It’s not what I needed to do.

@ Jari & Charlie: Thanx, I will try that, since I was looking for some solution like that for a tail echoe. Yup already 7 sucked at that. AVID is way better in that thing. I always did this sort of things in Ableton Live. Big bummer though that the Logic Plugs don’t work for that. I’m not such a fan of The FCP echoes and reverbs.

    Hi andy,

I’m not using Maverick, but 10.8.4.
And I’m quiet sure the structure is intact.
Otherwise I assume FCP 7 L&T wouldn’t recognise it either, but it does.

Thanks again. I will try it when I get back to the studio. Should that also solve the problem of importing also non selected clips from the card and stick only to the once with ins and outs?

    No hidden attack needed, Andy.
First of all cards weren’t copied by me.
Secondly: as I also sad several times before: card structure is fine.
Thirdly: if you read Jeremy’s post careful it is not a mishandling of the card, but a fault of the OS misinterpreting the AVCHD wrongly as QT.
    Thanx again Jeremy.

    Hi Jeremy,

Now I got you. Thanx so much for your help and patience.
No, I got only the material on a external HD, but copied in the correct way – full structure intact.
So, you think I should try your link you send me?
Won’t I screw too much with the card structure in doing this?

    Hi Jeremy,

Thanx. But you think this will help my problem of not being able to get the proper import window?
Because the files itself are recognised by X.

I’m truly sorry if I don’t explain myself good, I try again:
Even if nothing inside the clip is selected range wise, it does it. Lets say I finished going through my whole card, some clips I marked completely, some clips one or several ranges and some clips nothing. Now, I have to select inside my card folder all the clips and then press import. How would I remember with more than 100 clips, which ones were not selected? And if I selected them all, it imports even the ones I did not set an in and out point on, as complete clip. Any workaround, to get something more close to the trustworthy L&T window?
