  • I am having the same problem but if you search for a filter it opens up certain bins. Not sure why.

  • I have duplicated many EX sequences with no problem. I too wonder if it is a BM problem.

  • I am using a lot of EX .mov files on my PC and they work fine. 16 gig of RAM though and an i7 processor. Never had to render yet until export.

Yes, I got my Dell M6600 through the refurb idea and it looked brand new when i got it. Saved about 1800 off list too.

I changed over from a MBP to a Dell M6600 laptop for CS 5.5 last fall and it works great with a M3000 cuda card. I edit EX and AVCHD footage and it plays in real time with three layers with effects. Have not tried four layers yet. I highly recommend a PC with the best cuda card you can get.

According to what I know it will make a progressive disc from your interlaced footage. I let Toast do all the encoding and it seems to be as good a quality as a Bluray disc.

Yes, I have done this but you only get about 20 minutes on a regular dvd. I use Toast as well.

When I sent in my pre-order it said that it would be May 7 but other people say that is wrong. Still, if the online order form said May 7 I would give it some credit.
