Is CS6 shipping imminent?
I only ask this because of a curious coincidence – I purchased the CS5.5 Master Collection upgrade a week or so ago, knowing that it put me in line for the free CS6 upgrade. I was under the impression that shipping would be in June or July.
I received the latest PC Connection catalog today, which was marked for delivery 4/30 to 5/1, and on the cover it says Adobe Creative Suite 6 Family – Now Shipping! Now I don’t know whether this is an error, but PC Connection sells a lot of software, and I don’t think they’d make a mistake like this.
I’ll be watching for that email from Adobe with baited breath!

When I sent in my pre-order it said that it would be May 7 but other people say that is wrong. Still, if the online order form said May 7 I would give it some credit.

Then that about makes sense, Ron – I’m guessing PC Connection, by putting the Now Shipping! on the catalog cover, figures that they’ll have enough time to take the order, then pass it down the line to Adobe, and still hit the “now”, give or take a few days.

The official word is that it will ship by the first week in June. Maybe earlier. But any specific date promised before that is not to be trusted.
