    thanks for your patience!

okay, i will get a picture or sequence wich looks similar to that

lets take the red cube from the bottom for example, what i need is a plane version of the sides.

    like this

this is needed to remap it on the same objects build in real per projection(the arrangment with the cubes). sounds strange but i try to get rid of a extra renderprosess where i do this step in the 3d software.

so slicing it in after effects and de-streching the shapes, like i thought a reversed corner pin workflow.

    uiuiui

may sound like a bad strategy but its not i think.

    thanks!

    hey!

    thanks!

i think i should add the following information, what i got is actually
isometric picture out of a 3d software(arranged cubes). and i need to kind of slice and remap it into rectengular plane shapes, to save two additional render steps.

doin this in After effects would save a lot time.

    thanks,
    Ronny.

  • a little confused,

    thank you for the time.

    did you open with r13?

i was thinking about about a PLA baking if the animation is finished.

    thanks,
    Ronny!

    one addition,

if i render out a picture from scene 1 and put it on scene 2 it fits
    perfect….

so the issue is the shader!!!

    🙂

    hehe,

thanks for response, the workarround you discribe, i dont really unterstand it! 🙂

but sounds like a way to walk arround the problem. the things is its saveral splines diplicated via mograph into a cirlce, so i could bend each one, that would give me something to work with.

the file is top secret unfortunatly !!

but i still believe in the disk to hemispere idea! or not, i dont know 🙂

    thanks,

    only modelling:

the body is okay, maybe bring in some more datails in the edges, best for rendering details. and most of the time these things consist of two sides, its a manufacturing issue. so a thin line thats separetes the top from the bottom, bump mapping should be enough. its missing some details in generell, i would ay provide more edges and it could be much better. the earphone looks a bit meltet, or made of rubber, it needs more straightness or should look more made by robots, even when it is an old phone. for myself i love to bring in some chrome elements, thin details at some points. can look more vintage then.

thats all i can tell you!

    good luck..

    i think the same,

but you need proper uv maps,
it could make some problems on some brakepoints.
but anyways, that should be the best method, the same texture as aplha
layer too could provide a better 3d feeling, could also be a bit to much detail, ore not.
