So I should ask for 23.98 fps with no pull down and 1920×1080 prores HQ.

When you say I can go 2k or 4k is that as well as the settings above or is that another option all together?

Just a guess, but resize it in settings rather than use the filter, I get a lot of similar problems with Compressor filters.

You’ll have to forgive me as all I know about Macs is all Final Cut based. I clicked on Finder and it said Finder version 10.5.8, is that the same as my OS X version?

Double click the clip, click motion tab in the viewer, there you will get a list of all possible things to key frame.

Find your keyframes, use the grey arrows with the green dot in the middle to navigate your key frames, click the green dot and your keyframe will be deleted.
