The most likely cause –
the 3D layer is not in the camera view. this may occur with an animated camera. the remedy is to select the 3D layer and hit the key combo, CTRL+Home, which centers the layer within the active camera’s view.

You should be able to pull this off with mocha. Just remember to start at the end frame, when the tracking region is the largest, on-screen.

Parenting only works with Transform properties (except Opacity). What you can do is to create Expressions to link each Puppet Pin to its own Null. Then Parent the Nulls according to your needs.

It’s best that you post screen grabs cos there is incredibly little chance that you will solve your issues in the manner you’ve described. The Corner Pin is strictly defined by four points. You may do better with transform tracking data coupled with a distortion effect but it all depends on the backing plate and the insert image you are working with.

It’s too troublesome to take a look at your video – I suggest uploading it to the COW and then provide the link in your posts.

To remove the jitters, try lowering the opacity and if that doesn’t work, look at trying different speeds for your movement.

Unless the movement of each individual text character can be replicated by the gradient then it’s an impossible task.

You will want to separate the path into smaller components such that you will have the ability to directly affect the line component of your existing path.

Something like this will do ->

You can then have an Expression that links the line to both elliptical paths. It’s also required that you use non-parametric shape paths as they behave in an expected manner with Trim Paths – I am assuming that you would like to draw a stroke along the path without any visual breaks during the drawing process.

I think I may have found the simplest way to do this. Start by creating a Shape Layer with the ellipse Shape Tool. Remove Fill and set the value for Stroke until the ellipse is filled by the stroke width/color. Then apply Trim Paths and you’re set to go.
