transforming points on multiple shape layers?
I have composition with several shape layers that I want to transform at the same time.
Each shape is a single path of two circles connected by a straight line. I want to select just the points of the circle on multiple path (shape layers)and move them.
This way I can stretch the distance between them without distorting the circle.Is this possible?

The answer(s) depends on how you’ve set up the Shape Layers. If you post a screen grab of the Shape Layers’ contents, then it’ll be a lot clearer. Specifically, I’d need to know how the circles and lines are connected and what is with each Shape Layer.

Hopefully this clears it up a bit, not separate shapes, one single path. I’m trying to keep the “circle within the circle” strokes and just adjust the distance ( straight line) between them.

You will want to separate the path into smaller components such that you will have the ability to directly affect the line component of your existing path.
Something like this will do ->
You can then have an Expression that links the line to both elliptical paths. It’s also required that you use non-parametric shape paths as they behave in an expected manner with Trim Paths – I am assuming that you would like to draw a stroke along the path without any visual breaks during the drawing process.
