Don’t do the warping stuff – the image looks funky.
In the second example you provided. Just click on the name of anyone of the CornerPin points, in the Timeline, to select all the keyframes for that point. The use your arrow keys to nudge it to perfection.
Rinse. Tumble dry. Repeat for the other 3 points.

You don’t need to set Scale and Rotation if you are performing a CornerPin track.
Here’s what you should do. Track with ConerPin, ensure that Scale and Rotation are not selected. Initiate the tracking as per usual. Ensure that Track Target is set to the frozen frame. Apply the Track.
Create your mask. Temporarily switch of the corner-pin effect and adjust the mask as and when required. You shouldn’t need to keyframe the mask. Once you’ve locked down the mask for a frame, the corner-pin effect should take care of the rest.
And don’t forget to color correct the frozen frame so that it looks different from the video – make it more film-like to make the entire sequence more believable.

Working with more than one alpha is analogoue to creating procedural mattes in AE – aka multiple masks.
AE doesn’t support multiple alpha channels – it defaults to picking up the top-most alpha channel in AE. To make things happen, copy and paste the alpha channels into RGB layers and work accordingly in AE.
Once in AE, you’ll have to merge the alphas in a precomp using either the multiple or screen transfer mode. Take note that should there be semi-transparent areas, unexpected results may occur. This will also happen should you manually merge more than one alpha channel within Photoshop.
After merging the alphas. Precomp them and use them as a track matte.

CC Page Turn is one of the ingredieants you will need. You’ll also need some distortion such as Turbulence Displace to spice things up.
Expect to spend a wee bit of time getting the keyframes and timing just right. But those two should get you where you want to go.

If I recall correctly, Timewarp doesn’t work with audio. Have a quick look at AE’s Help Menu-> Effects Help and jump to the Effects->Time->Timewarp.

Not too familiar with the camera but it’s 1280×720 and not 1080×720 if it’s going to be square pixels. Could that be the reason why your PAR is off.

The only way I know how is to do it one Ramp for each line of text. But to make things easier. Just create a Ramp and a Text layer. Parent one to the other.
For subsequent text lines, just create a copy of the text layer and type in the new characters. Duplicate the Ramp layer and change parenthood accordingly.
Not too tedious once you get the hang of it. Having said all these, Aharon’s got a tutorial on multigradients, not too sure if it’ll be able to handle your initial requirements with a single gradient layer.

I checked with Steve Forde from Gridiron Software and he said to do the same thing with regards to NucleoPro2.
It would be nice for realtime playback for a single layer for roto purposes. Commotion had it about 7 years ago. Let’s hope it makes it to the features wishlist. 🙂
It’s also a great plugin idea.
