Hi Anders,
yes I am happy with the outcome. Polar Coordinates is a powerful tool, but your approach is easier to handle.

Thanks a ton!
Just added Simple Choker to smoothen it out.See attached clip for final result: it’s the circle on the very right.
PS: i can’t embed videoclips here, can I?

CC Power Pin satisfied me, this appeared the quickest solution. It has the option to reduce the “perspectiveness”, which was what I searched for.
Thanks!

Hey Chris,
thanks for your reply! the prices for Germany seem to be more expensive than in the US…Actually I stuck to the building guide at pugetsystems:
https://www.pugetsystems.com/recommended/Recommended-Systems-for-Adobe-After-Effects-CC-144/Hardware-Recommendations…which led me to i7-8700k. (“The Core i7 8700K is currently our go-to recommendation, although the Core i7 8700 is only very slightly behind for a small savings in cost.”)
…and let me choose an M.2 drive for project files.
But thanks to your input, I changed to a 500W PSU. And I’ll try 32GB of RAM first.
Since I keep the i7-8700k, I am stuck with an Z370 board. Any recommendations?

Anybody…?
Did I express myself clearly?
I assume I don’t quite get the way a camera in AE works, since the blur remains even if I put the aperture to 0.5px!

What are the setting i.e. values I should check?

April 7, 2014 at 11:17 am in reply to: Need opinion about these components for new PC, please!I am pretty sure the both work on the same 1150 socket!
see: ark.intel.com/products/75462/Intel-Xeon-Processor-E3-1245-v3-8M-Cache-3_40-GHz – “Sockets Supported: FCLGA1150”Furthermore, you don’t have to use EEC-RAM. Uncertified ones do work too!
It’s pity that I did not find any benchmarks comparing these two!
I think a major difference is that the IGP of the i7 are way better than the ones on Xeons, aren’t they?
