3D camera: z-axis clashes with layer order (images added)
Hi there,
can you please tell me what is going on here?
So I have several layers arranged on the z-axis. in this case, even though the ship (schiff) is closer to the camera, it is shown under a object (the town, stade_ctrl with all its stade children) that is further away from the camera.
Changing the layer order in the timeline actually helps in this case, but that’s not the point: actually, I want the ship to sink into the map, as the waves (wellen_ctrls, welle6) do. (Right now the ship always stays in front.) But if I place the ship under the map in layer order, both the ship and the waves disappear!
Is this a flaw of “fake” AE-2.5D that I have to cope with?
