    Hi,

    I am working on a project with a layer put up in z-space. when i try to get really close, I can’t keep the object in focus. it just blurs irrecognizably, even with the focus plane on spot!

    And these are my settings at the very point. (Sorry, I use a german version.)

    What the heck is going on here?

    Did I express myself clearly?

    I assume I don’t quite get the way a camera in AE works, since the blur remains even if I put the aperture to 0.5px!

    There does seem to be some strange behavior when the focus distance is less than about 10-15% of the zoom. I’ll try to spend a little more time later today with this and see if I can figure out what’s going on.

    Can you stay above that threshold?
