If you have several tracks, you can also render those tracks by going to “tools” and “render new track”

Those area really great tutorials. I’ve tried it several times and without the tutorials, it would never happen. Hope you’ll be doing more.

I’ll give that a try. Thanks.

  • I do a lot of color correction for our PBS television series and thanks to those in the know on the forum and with their help, I’ve satisfied PBS very well using
    levels
    color corrector
    color corrector (secondary)
    color curves
    in that order.

After all that and on the master bus we add the broadcast color corrector to be sure everything is within limits.
Also use the vectorscope and waveform to see where the colors stand. Gotten so I adjust colors by looking at those as much as I do looking at the video event.

It use to make a difference several versions back as about setting the preview to full, half, etc. but on the last several versions, it makes no difference that the preview is set to. Either way, the file comes out the same size.

I’m assuming you are saying you can’t open a project that includes those particular files. If so, try to open your project using windows explorer instead of opening the project within Vegas itself.

    Steve,
Did you get my email. What’s your decision on the card?

I may be understanding your question a bit differently. Here’s my explanation.

I too can’t seem to render an Mpeg4 for Youtube. I keep getting an “InvalidCredentialsException — Invalid Credentials” message.
Geez! You would think one could finish a project and not have some sort of issue.

I thought they changed that rule for everyone quite some time back about not being able to upload a video longer than 10 minutes.
I went to upload a video one day and Youtube had a message pop up that simply told me that I was not able to upload video longer than the 10 minutes. Didn’t realize that there was still a limitation for some.
